Nutrition
My views on nutrition is that it's exactly like life. It's about balance. I'm a big fan of eating, and I enjoy eating a LOT. I make sure that my eyes are as big as my stomach, and whenever I eat, I ALWAYS make sure that I eat til I am full. NOT FILLED. There's a big difference between filling yourself up and being full. When you fill yourself up, you eat too much, and put more than enough calories within your body, ensuring that it becomes fat. However, I do have a guideline regarding balance:
50% vegetables/salad 25% meats (protein and fats) 25% pasta, rice, bread... basically carbs and for dessert, any kind of fruit. Simple Rules: No fried foods No desserts (unless it's fruit) No carbonated beverages... in fact, the only drinks I'm allowed to drink is water, unsweet tea, 100% juice, and milk. No fast food restaurants No snacks unless they're veggies No eating 3 hours before bedtime Drink a gallon of cold water every day Eat vitamin gummy bears! Eat at least 3 meals a day, breakfast and lunch being the largest two meals So basically... everything else is free game Dates that I am Exempt from these Rules: Holidays, Birthdays, Weddings, and other special occasions |
