Training
Training is something that challenges you and prepares you. Training is something that builds you up while breaking you down. Training helps you reach your goals.
When training, it's important to do it right, because if you don't, you end up hurting yourself. Make sure to take time to know your body well enough to understand what it can do and can't do, so that you can push the limit and not go beyond it.
To me, I look at all the training regiments and I don't see things I need to do. Instead, I look at it and see a bunch of guidelines. Everyone is different and trains differently because we are all at different stages of fitness. As for me, I train myself according to what I feel like training.
In the training plans I've made up, these are just guidelines. When you look at them, tweak them and make it your own workout. Understand the reasoning behind the workouts and with that knowledge, plan your own workout. In the training plans I've created, I've made it so that the runner would be outside 6 days a week. Do runners need to be out 6 days a week to train for a race? No. You probably need only 3-4 days a week to get there. Why then do I encourage people to be out 6 days a week then? That's because I want you to build a good habit, a good foundation, so that your body can grow and adjust to this training, letting it adapt and become stronger.
Most importantly, train correctly, use the right technique, and always listen to your body.
